An interactive workshop introducing
the Conscious Elders Network &
the Work That Reconnects
Sunday, April 26th - 11am - 5pm
West Marin Ranch
Come join the Bay Area Wisdom Council of the Conscious Elders Network in beautiful West Marin to deepen our connections to the earth and one another while we discover how we can be of greater service to life in our elder years. We will learn about the Conscious Elders Network and experience some of the interactive practices of the Work That Reconnects. At the end of the Workshop we will form into local elder circles to support each other in deepening our consciousness and our commitment to action for the earth.
The Conscious Elders Network is a budding movement of vital elders, dedicated to growing in consciousness while actively addressing the demanding challenges facing our world. We work inter-generationally for social and economic justice, environmental stewardship, and sound governance. We bring our multiple talents and resources, offering these in service to the goal of preserving and protecting life for all generations to come. www.consciouselders.org
Drawing from deep ecology, systems theory and spiritual traditions, the Work That Reconnects builds motivation, creativity, courage and solidarity for the transition to a sustainable human culture. First emerging in 1978, this pioneering, work has its roots in the teachings and experiential methods of Joanna Macy. www.workthatreconnects.org
Directions will be sent upon registration.
This workshop is offered on a donation basis so please bring cash or checks. Also bring a picnic lunch as there are no places to eat nearby and be prepared to spend some time outside on the land.
