Post-Session 5 Journaling and Daily Practices

Mindfulness Practices:

  • Practice subtle activism together until next session--5 minutes each day holding same intention/images for some shared focus. (We will decide at the end of the session what our subtle activism practice will be.)

  • Practice loving kindness meditation for yourself and others.

  • Do one act of outer activism each day. It can be a holding action, building new structures, or shifting consciousness. This can be as simple as changing a lightbulb, writing your congress-person, donating to a social cause that needs funds to do its work, or giving an unexpected smile or kindness to a stranger.
