Grandparents Climate Action Day Webcast

NYC_ClimateMarch.jpg

If you are not able to attend Grandparents Climate Action Day in Washington, DC, September 9-10 in person, you can still be involved in the action by hosting a webcast viewing in your home or community. Gather friends and family, old and young, for the Grandparents Climate Action Day Webcast, live from Washington on Sept 10, 6:30 – 7:30 Eastern Daylight Time (3:30-4:30 Pacific time).

This will be a great way to introduce friends, family, and your wider community to Elders Climate Action and Conscious Elders Network and to create a conversation around climate change issues.

The webcast will be streamed live at the end of the event and will feature recorded highlights from keynote speakers Climate Scientist Dr. James Hansen and Activist Lynne Twist. Elder activists will report out on their experiences of the day - and we'll show a video of the flash mob in Union Station

If you would like to host a Grandparents Climate Action Day Webcast party, please let us know.

Webcast details about how to tune in to the webcast will be posted soon on Consciouselders.org and eldersclimateaction.org. Please check back for more information.

In the meantime, whether or not you plan to attend a webcast party or watch it on your own, please, if you haven't already done so, sign the petition that we will be delivering to Congress on September 10.
