Conscious Elders Network Introductory Event
Sunday July 31 - 3- 6pm.
San Geronimo Valley Community Center
6350 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. San Geronimo CA. 94963
The Conscious Elders Network (CEN) is a movement of vital elders, dedicated to growing in consciousness while actively addressing the demanding challenges facing our communities/our country. We are catalysts of a social movement to realize a just and sustainable common future. In so doing, we find a new and rewarding sense of meaning in our lives, and we create a new elder culture.
You are invited to a community gathering to explore together what it means for each of us to engage in our world as a conscious elder. How can we offer our multiple talents and resources in service of preserving and protecting life for all generations to come? This is an interactive event where you will have the opportunity to meet some of the founding members of CEN and other like-minded elders, and share your stories, your passions, and your visions for a healthy, just, and sustainable world for all.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, helpless, burnt out, or lonely in your concern and love for our world, this gathering will be medicine for your soul. If you are actively working for a sane and livable world, you'll find inspiration and support here; you'll find more of your tribe.
Bring your journal and spend a few hours in inquiry with people who are also exploring Conscious Elderhood! We will connect and inspire each other as we find ways to support each other in our work for the world, and we will present several ways to engage with other Elders in your area. You may form Elder Circles, Elder Climate Action Groups, or groups addressing an issue of importance in your community. You may also sign up for the upcoming Conscious Elders Network course designed to explore more deeply what it means to be an elder, to be conscious, and to engage with the difficult issues facing our world while keeping our hearts open and bringing forth our gifts.
