Conscious Elders Network 2016 National Gathering
"One Earth, One Humanity, One Future"
September 18th - 21st
'We the Elders' launched CEN in April, 2014, responding to our concern about the serious social justice and environmental issues we face as a nation. We began this quest motivated by our deep desire to leave a livable world and future for our grandchildren and all of Life. As elders, we know that we have the experience, knowledge, wisdom, resources, and time to create the needed changes to address those issues in our society. We can envision a better future.
Having achieved significant accomplishments during our first two years, we are planning to gather as the leaders of this movement once again this September. We will set the stage to take significant steps in the magnitude of our engagement, the effectiveness of our work, and the zeal of our commitment... steps made possible by being and working together. We invite you to join us in our endeavor!
Our goals and plans for this gathering include:
Developing elements to expand and strengthen the scope of our activism in the areas of Environmental and Climate Action, Social and Economic Justice, and Regenerative Living;
Defining a comprehensive education program and curriculum for shifting our consciousness as individuals and as a collective;
Setting the stage for establishing a network of Elder Circles and Climate/Social Justice action chapters across North America; and
Bonding, inspiring one another, and having fun together!
Morning Plenary Sessions will explore the synergism and empowerment that comes from collaborating and co-creating in community, the challenges of developing such a culture, and the commitment required to enact living to our vision of “We are One.
Afternoon Break-out Sessions (partial list)

Giving Back to the World – considering five factors central to discerning and choosing one’s deepest call to service,
The New Worldview – embracing Earth’s evolutionary journey to redefine ‘progress’: from more wealth to more health, more stuff to more satisfaction, and more experiences to deeper meaning.

We the Elders are here to do this noble work; it is our Destiny!
